Hey, I'm Mike Tussey. Welcome to the site. You can often find me residing in my darkened room illuminated by the glow of my T.V. playing my Playstation, Super Nintendo, Virtual Boy or PC. Video games are to be one of the most important things in my life. I spent about ten or so hours everyday on weekends and about two or three hours on weekdays. Jeeze. Just I'm still amazed how much I play during the summer though. I play from, like, 10:00 in the morning to like 12:00 at night. Now THAT'S dedication...or obsession depending on how you look at it.
I'm also into downhill skateboarding, but I seriously doubt that I'm ever going to put up any thing on that simply because what the hell would I write, and plus anyone who comes to this site in the first place is looking for video games, not some crap about skateboards. Then, I also like programming an ánime.
As I said before, I have a Playstaion, which I'm playing 90% of the time. I also spend a lot of money on it. I usually never have much more than 25¢, since I spend all my money on games an peripherals. But, I'm proud to say my game library is increasing is size quickly. I like just about all games - everything from the ultra-cute Super Mario Bros. to the ever-so-bloody Resident Evil 2. My mom really hates when I get the bloody games, since I still have one year to go before I'm 17. But as most gamers, I get games for fun. If blood happens to be part of that, so be it. Most adults don't understand that violent games don't cause kids to charge into a crowded plaza and blow the hell out of everything that moves. If that were true, then everyone who has cable TV should be out killing everyone. Well, I have yet to see THAT. Those bastards in Colorado were just fucked up. Video games happened to be one of their past times. Games didn't make them shoot up that school, their own screwed up heads made them do it.
Just as movies, video games are for fun and a means of escape. No one takes them too seriously, but they still like them. Games like Diablo don't cause people to get a nice big broad sword and go massacre everyone, nor do movies like Reservoir Dogs give people the urge to shot people. Video games are for fun and that's it. If people don't like what they see, then simply don't look! Don't whine about games being to violent or sexual. This America so just all you whiners shut the hell up for Christ sake!!
